Quickest delivery in the area. When working late with a large group this is the place we always choose. There is enough choices for everyone. The food is not always consistent but it is never really bad.

Last time I order from this place, ever. First time, it took awhile, this time it took forever. Was told 20-40 minutes, it's now an hour and 15. I feel like calling them and telling them to shove it up their... donkey.

So you know the 25-40 minute delivery time is shot when you call the restaurant an hour and ten minutes after you order and the guy says it will hopefully arrive in the next five minutes. Another 25 minutes later and you are about to give up since they are no longer are answering the phones and your cold meal arrives. They don't even ask you to sign because they know no one would. I deserve my money back and they should be removed from seamless

Really disappointing. The grilled vegetables are just mush, the mashed potatoes are flavorless and taste rehydrated, the barbecue sauce is nothing special and the ribs and chicken were like airline food. Would be fine if it cost less money.

This place is just plain terrible. After being in NYC for 5 years, this is my first bad Seamless experience but it was bound to happen. The restaurant paid no attention to my comments (instead of cheddar cheese, they covered everything in a truly disgusting cheese sauce). Besides the cheese sauce, stay away from the potato skins (they are burnt and barely edible.) Such a disappointment.

Huge portions, great service, and food arrived in a cardboard box instead of a bag -- so fried stuff was still hot and crispy upon arrival... All of my write-in boxes were clearly read and acknowledged, and the food was surprisingly tasty, juicy, and hearty for what I thought was just going to be a cheapo weekday lunch. A definite order to repeat.

Ribs and chicken were drenched in (like another reviewer mentioned) an overly sweet barbecue sauce. Grilled vegetables were gross. And if those are their "real mashed potatoes", I don't want to taste their fake ones.

I have never given 5 stars but this place is amazing. Appropriate portions, tastes amazing, reasonable prices and literally delivered in 10-15 mins. I predict this is going to be my go-to place for comfort food.

Do not order from here..... Delivery took more than 70 minutes and by that time the food was cold. It was very average anyways. Brisket was way too saucy, was bland the sweet potato fries were only ok. He pointed out the tip as if to say it was too low....which was 20%. After showing up late! Never again

I just got the friend shrimp and it was pretty mediocre. Not to mention I asked for extra cocktail sauce and was given tartar sauce and salsa (???) instead. They also forgot my drink. Not so happy that I gave them a $7 tip on a $18 order anymore!

TR&G is a weekly staple in our ordering from Seamless. The food is kicking and to die for...always fresh, always hot and always quick. There has never been an issue with delivery, service or the food. Needless to say, we order from here 4-5 times a week. We have tried a lot of BBQ places and can honestly say we have found this hidden gem in the heart of the FiDi to be THE. BEST. BBQ. IN. NYC. That's all we have to say. Actually, there's more. You get the value for your buck with this place--big portions, flavor to the bone and did I mention quick? I did..and I will do it again. If my stomach is grumblin' then I know the staff at TR&G will be here in a flash with their signature cornbread muffins and extra dollops of BBQ sauce. If they went public, I'd buy stock. I have to go now---and order again. Thank you guys at TR&G--you're a true shining spot in the area.

They are very good at reading and following the special instructions form and rarely take anywhere close to the estimated time to actually deliver. BY FAR.... the best 'go to' dinner in my book. They have a very good selection from the health conscious to the "cheat day special" smothered in bbq sauce. I placed a large order for an office lunch and the food arrived very promptly; and it was still hot! After passing out all the orders I noticed that two items were missing. I called up Texas and they sending over replacements. Thanks Texas!

I ordered the 2 pieces of fried chicken lunch special with collard greens and whipped sweet potatoes. It took about 45 minutes for it to arrive, and so it is lukewarm. But I really can't complain because its still delicious. The chicken is so good. I also will probably get two meals out of this-- its a lot of food! Great value.

I was having trouble choosing between the brisket or the ribs platter... so I asked if they could accommodate half of each: and they did! Great customer service. The food was amazing too. The meat is so succulent and moist I definitely did not need to add any sauce; it was perfect as prepared. I'll definitely order again.

+ Delivery was at the lowest end of the time (25 mins.) + BBQ Beef sandwich was delicious, and they separated the beef and the bun so it didn't get gross and soggy + Jerk chicken was also delicious + Chicken fingers were good, but not super amazing - Fries were mediocre - BBQ sauce provided was a bit too thin and sweet (but not on the beef itself)

mediocre. the chicken was all dark meat, the skin was delicious though. the refried beans were really strange, i'm not sure how you mess that up. the fried sweet plantains seemed pre-made and were cold/hard. tomato and cucumber salad was really good though drowning in dressing even though i asked for it on the side. delivery was fairly quick.

Quarter chicken was juicy and delicious. Ribs were okay, nothing to write home about. Loved that they packed the sandwich meat and bread separately so that it won't become a soggy bread mash when delivered. Pulled pork lunch plate was plentiful and delcious though did need to add hot sauce to get a good kick (btw- their hot sauce was nice, a bit more punchy than regular tobasco sauce). Sides of sweet potato fries, real mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and creamy mac n cheese helped add to a lunch food coma. Delivery was fast too so would definately be ordering from them again.

Outstanding customer service -- our building staff mishandled the delivery, causing us to think it never arrived. The guys were responsive and didn't give us a hard time (even though the food was sitting here!) and promptly prepared and sent a whole new order. They even sent the original delivery guy back to check on the original order. Even when we figured out that our buulding was at fault, they would not even charge us for the second order, and were courteous and even apologetic. Plus, the food was awesome. These guys are great.

I would rate zero stars if possible, it was that bad! I ordered the brisket (I'm a texan who loves her brisket) and it was so disgusting I had to throw it all away. The slices of "meat" were about 90% fat and 10% brisket, and they were sliced so thick that I was literally trying to chew through chunks of fat. It was awful. Will not be ordering from here again.

These guys sure do deliver fast! It's probably because they don't assemble the sandwiches for you. I wouldn't have minded making my own meal so much had I wanted to do it in the first place, or if the bread not been stale. Also, the gravy on the mashed potatoes resembled Jello and the stuffing was nothing more than cold, soggy breadcrumbs with celery. Two stars for the ribs.

I never post reviews but i felt this called for it. First I must say delivery was VERY quick I got my confirmation and 15mins later the food was here. But it was TERRIBLE. I really wasn't in the mood for meat so i just ordered a few sides. The whipped sweet potatos had a bad taste that got worse as you kept eating, the stuffing didn't look or taste cooked not how stuffing should be, the kernel corn is pretty much the green giant canned corn still in the dirty water. I will never order from here again.

Overall great experience... if you are looking for BBQ for lunch in the Financial District this is the only place you should go! I had the beef brisket sandwich and being from the south I know what it should taste like. While I am not going to say its as good as the souths brisket but I will say that it was a great substitute! Very tender beef and good sauce! And it even came on the side seperate from the hero roll so I could apply it myself and it would not be soggy! Also I got my order in 15 minutes! Great experience overall and will be ordering again!!!!

Texas Rotisserie & Grill has an excellent menu and the good is consistently good. Their delivery is here almost before I hang up the phone. And I have always gotten what I have ordered. This is one of the few places I have gotten fried chicken that is fresh and juicy. Their portions are generous and excellent value. I order from here frequently. Highly recommend with confidence.

Really delicious BBQ offerings. The ribs are second to none. A little pricey, and delivery can take a little bit (expect at least an hour), but Texas Rotisserie is really the only BBQ place of any quality in Lower Manhattan. If you can wait, it's well worth it!

THE BEST FRIED SHRIMPS I EVER HAD.....SOFT INSIDE CRUNCHY OUTSIDE. ALTHOUGH THEY CHARGED EXTRA PACKAGE FEES, THEY DID PACKED NICELY AND SAFE. THEY USED PLASTIC WRAP WRAPPED THE BOX OF MY FRIED SHRIMPS. EXCELLENT FOOD AND DELIVERY SERVICE. WILL RECOMMEND AND DO BUSINESS AGAIN W/ THEM.

Terrible. I know this was just one poor experience, but the food was cold by the time it arrived... The 30-45 minute expected delivery time took at least an hour and a half, and they were missing some of what we ordered! Even if the food were warmer, I have doubts about the quality. Would not recommend. Will not order from again.

delivery guy got in my building and took litterally 13 minutes to get to my apartment, i called to cancel the order they cursed me out and hung up phone on me, i called again they said they would not return money and the food was still not at my door. finally it got to me all messy and open, i could not eat it and lost 27.00! ps. mashed potatoes are not real, they are dry, it looks like it was some kind of starch or flour.

DELICIOUS. I mean, meat falling off the bone it's so good - and I got all white meat. That rotisserie chicken is beyond. And the cheese fries are awesome. They must make their own kind of cheese because the flavor is much more developed than your run-of-the-mill nacho cheese. I live so far away from them and yet they not only still delivered on-time (albeit, JUST on-time) but the food was still hot. Just be aware that you're going to wait til the very end of that allotted frame.

Well, I gave them one more chance and, as usual, the food was good even though it wasn't what I ordered. The packing (for which they charge 6%, PLUS delivery tip) and delivery is horrible. Everytime I order, something that I paid for is missing. This time they forgot half the order and what they did send was wrong. I said I was done last time, this time I mean it!

I don't know how this got a four star rating - what I got was cafeteria food - and bad at that. Overdone brisket in a brown something and canned corn. Ugh!!! One taste and I threw it out. NEVER AGAIN!!

I have ordered food from here a few times( ribs, chicken etc ) and it's usually OK not great. Yesterday I ordered the ‘Roasted Garlic Seasoned Shrimp Platter Special’ and it was the absolutely worst food I have had. The shrimp was tasteless and the pasta was overcooked and soggy. Just terrible. So bad that I had to say it. If you are going to order at all from here, stick to the generic stuck, otherwise you will be very disappointed

Ordered pulled chicken sandwich, the overly salty pulled chicken came in a container... Bread came separately, and I don't see all the fuss about the mac and cheese here. Didn't taste like any real cheese sauce, it reminded me of the velveeta stuff. Fries were the best thing from this meal, even though it was a bit soggy from delivery. (You can't expect fried stuff to be excellent if you're getting it delivered) The big portion makes it a 3 star, though.

I've had the rottisserie chicken several times and it's always succulent. The sweet potato chips are supertasty, too.

The barbecue sauce (on ribs) was really good. Plaintains were good. Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes were just okay. Cornbread better than average.

Order took 1h40min to arrive! When I called, after 1h, I was told there was a problem with some part of the order being unavailable: what's the use of giving a contact number if not to be contacted when this happens... When order arrived, all was stone cold: disgusting. Demanded a refund, which was processed within 48h. Seamlessweb refund process was the highlight of teh meal :-/

Awesome food and super fast delivery. I really can't get enough of this place. I've ordered salads which were fresh and great and I've ordered their bbq which is just as good.

the pork bbq sandwhich came on a wheat hero?? this needs to be a hamburger bun, or sliced bread. also, the pork is very wet and sweet. i guess i prefer dry pork bbq (with sauce added later). macaroni & cheese was the highlight, but not as good as some other bbq places. i'll try something else from here next time.

My order took over an hour and a half to arrive even though the website claims delivery is about 15-30 minutes. Unfortunately it was so late I was due in a meeting and couldn't even eat it. Never again. There's just too many restaurants that are actually reliable and courteous to choose from - why eat at this place?

Very fast delivery and generous portions of comfort food side items! The chicken is usually quite tasty, although it can vary dramatically in size. The delivery charge is somewhat obnoxious, however.

awful. i ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, creamed spinach and sweet fries because it has a high rating on seamless. creamed spinach was watery and tasteless, fries were soggy (that happens on delivery orders semetimes) and the ribbs were also tasteless. they had a lot of sauce on them i guess to add flavor but that did not help much. no idea how this place got such a big rating.. i could put some ribs on a grill with basic spices and they would come out 10x better than this specialty rotisserie grill offers.

good place for a quick fix. the prices have slightly gone up, but they offer a great variety of items. the quarter rotisserie chicken with 2 sides is a good deal for your buck. mediocre burgers. good sides.

We order from TR often. I agree with some reviewers that their turkey and beef are lacking- the exception is their turkey burgers that I think are great. The chicken is always great, and so are the salads and soups. I recommend sticking with these dishes and you can't go wrong.

The web site mentioned that you will have a salad with your meal and we did not receive any. The Brisket could be a little more tender as well

Not very good. The ribs were not tender, the seasonings in the sauce were weak. Sides were mediocre at best. There's better options. Skip this.

The food is excellent, comes quickly and I don't feel guilty because I'm eating something nutritious. Prices are kind of expensive, but worth it.

The Roast Turkey plate was NOT roast turkey, or roast turkey breast. I was that awful, pressed turked breast, just heated up. Terrible! Roast a REAL turkey or turkey breast. The Prime Rib dinner was also bad. It came as an unidentifiable steak -- Prime Rib should come with a bone, so you know what it is. This did not taste or look like Prime Rib. And it was cooked Medium when I asked for it Rare/Medium-Rare. They did NOT deliver the salads that were supposed to come with our dinners. They send the salad DRESSING, but no salad. Pretty Bad.

The food is always outstanding. What is even better is the delivery of it. My order always comes, it seems, within minutes, and it's nice and hot. The delivery people are noteworthy as well. Always pleasant and courteous and always exactly where I ask them to meet me. A+ food. A+ service. A+ staff. How can you go wrong ?
