I am from Texas and their food makes me feel at home. I like the Chicken tenders (they are low cal too!), baked beans, and the sausage. True southern comfort food... enjoy!

Pretty average rotisserie chicken and fried chicken. Ordered both kinds of chicken and not that great. KFC is just the same and cheaper. Don't think I'll order from here again.

Bad customer service. Took almost 2 hours for delivery and when we would call to check on the status the woman who answered was rude and unhelpful. When the food finally did arrive (with no apology) it was cold and not very good.

I never post reviews but i felt this called for it. First I must say delivery was VERY quick I got my confirmation and 15mins later the food was here. But it was TERRIBLE. I really wasn't in the mood for meat so i just ordered a few sides. The whipped sweet potatos had a bad taste that got worse as you kept eating, the stuffing didn't look or taste cooked not how stuffing should be, the kernel corn is pretty much the green giant canned corn still in the dirty water. I will never order from here again.

Overall great experience... if you are looking for BBQ for lunch in the Financial District this is the only place you should go! I had the beef brisket sandwich and being from the south I know what it should taste like. While I am not going to say its as good as the souths brisket but I will say that it was a great substitute! Very tender beef and good sauce! And it even came on the side seperate from the hero roll so I could apply it myself and it would not be soggy! Also I got my order in 15 minutes! Great experience overall and will be ordering again!!!!

I always order laege fruit salads but side varies too much. One day a medium is a medium and then teh next day the medium arrives as a "Large" and becomes a rip-off. Booo!

Food ok but: - Menu said HALF chicken and ribs, I only got a QUARTER... - 30 minutes late and both person on the phone at the restaurant and delivery boy totally unapologetic. Never again.

Texas Rotisserie & Grill has an excellent menu and the good is consistently good. Their delivery is here almost before I hang up the phone. And I have always gotten what I have ordered. This is one of the few places I have gotten fried chicken that is fresh and juicy. Their portions are generous and excellent value. I order from here frequently. Highly recommend with confidence.

Really delicious BBQ offerings. The ribs are second to none. A little pricey, and delivery can take a little bit (expect at least an hour), but Texas Rotisserie is really the only BBQ place of any quality in Lower Manhattan. If you can wait, it's well worth it!

The order took over an hour to arrive (well over the promised delivery time) and they messed up the items in my order. The food wasn't that great - the corn bread was some of the worst I've ever tasted.

They are so fast and delicious. They always make it here under the estimate time, and it's always hot! One star deducted because they have a mandatory packaging charge. No one else has that... they should get rid of it.

THE BEST FRIED SHRIMPS I EVER HAD.....SOFT INSIDE CRUNCHY OUTSIDE. ALTHOUGH THEY CHARGED EXTRA PACKAGE FEES, THEY DID PACKED NICELY AND SAFE. THEY USED PLASTIC WRAP WRAPPED THE BOX OF MY FRIED SHRIMPS. EXCELLENT FOOD AND DELIVERY SERVICE. WILL RECOMMEND AND DO BUSINESS AGAIN W/ THEM.

Terrible. I know this was just one poor experience, but the food was cold by the time it arrived... The 30-45 minute expected delivery time took at least an hour and a half, and they were missing some of what we ordered! Even if the food were warmer, I have doubts about the quality. Would not recommend. Will not order from again.

I can't believe there's a 6% packing fee. This just illustrates the contempt this restaurant has for its customers. Raise the prices by 6%, but don't nickle and dime me. The food is so-so anyway, so thanks for the incentive...

delivery guy got in my building and took litterally 13 minutes to get to my apartment, i called to cancel the order they cursed me out and hung up phone on me, i called again they said they would not return money and the food was still not at my door. finally it got to me all messy and open, i could not eat it and lost 27.00! ps. mashed potatoes are not real, they are dry, it looks like it was some kind of starch or flour.

DELICIOUS. I mean, meat falling off the bone it's so good - and I got all white meat. That rotisserie chicken is beyond. And the cheese fries are awesome. They must make their own kind of cheese because the flavor is much more developed than your run-of-the-mill nacho cheese. I live so far away from them and yet they not only still delivered on-time (albeit, JUST on-time) but the food was still hot. Just be aware that you're going to wait til the very end of that allotted frame.

Well, I gave them one more chance and, as usual, the food was good even though it wasn't what I ordered. The packing (for which they charge 6%, PLUS delivery tip) and delivery is horrible. Everytime I order, something that I paid for is missing. This time they forgot half the order and what they did send was wrong. I said I was done last time, this time I mean it!

I ordered at 12:49 PM. It's 2:09 PM and I'm still waiting for my food after calling them twice. 30 minutes ago they said it would be here in "5-10 minutes". I don't care how good it is. No excuse for 90 minute delivery time in NYC. Dallas BBQ is good enough. I'll stick with them from now on.

I don't know how this got a four star rating - what I got was cafeteria food - and bad at that. Overdone brisket in a brown something and canned corn. Ugh!!! One taste and I threw it out. NEVER AGAIN!!

I have ordered food from here a few times( ribs, chicken etc ) and it's usually OK not great. Yesterday I ordered the ‘Roasted Garlic Seasoned Shrimp Platter Special’ and it was the absolutely worst food I have had. The shrimp was tasteless and the pasta was overcooked and soggy. Just terrible. So bad that I had to say it. If you are going to order at all from here, stick to the generic stuck, otherwise you will be very disappointed

Ordered pulled chicken sandwich, the overly salty pulled chicken came in a container... Bread came separately, and I don't see all the fuss about the mac and cheese here. Didn't taste like any real cheese sauce, it reminded me of the velveeta stuff. Fries were the best thing from this meal, even though it was a bit soggy from delivery. (You can't expect fried stuff to be excellent if you're getting it delivered) The big portion makes it a 3 star, though.

Order took 1h40min to arrive! When I called, after 1h, I was told there was a problem with some part of the order being unavailable: what's the use of giving a contact number if not to be contacted when this happens... When order arrived, all was stone cold: disgusting. Demanded a refund, which was processed within 48h. Seamlessweb refund process was the highlight of teh meal :-/

the pork bbq sandwhich came on a wheat hero?? this needs to be a hamburger bun, or sliced bread. also, the pork is very wet and sweet. i guess i prefer dry pork bbq (with sauce added later). macaroni & cheese was the highlight, but not as good as some other bbq places. i'll try something else from here next time.

My order took over an hour and a half to arrive even though the website claims delivery is about 15-30 minutes. Unfortunately it was so late I was due in a meeting and couldn't even eat it. Never again. There's just too many restaurants that are actually reliable and courteous to choose from - why eat at this place?

Very fast delivery and generous portions of comfort food side items! The chicken is usually quite tasty, although it can vary dramatically in size. The delivery charge is somewhat obnoxious, however.

awful. i ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, creamed spinach and sweet fries because it has a high rating on seamless. creamed spinach was watery and tasteless, fries were soggy (that happens on delivery orders semetimes) and the ribbs were also tasteless. they had a lot of sauce on them i guess to add flavor but that did not help much. no idea how this place got such a big rating.. i could put some ribs on a grill with basic spices and they would come out 10x better than this specialty rotisserie grill offers.

good place for a quick fix. the prices have slightly gone up, but they offer a great variety of items. the quarter rotisserie chicken with 2 sides is a good deal for your buck. mediocre burgers. good sides.

We order from TR often. I agree with some reviewers that their turkey and beef are lacking- the exception is their turkey burgers that I think are great. The chicken is always great, and so are the salads and soups. I recommend sticking with these dishes and you can't go wrong.

The Roast Turkey plate was NOT roast turkey, or roast turkey breast. I was that awful, pressed turked breast, just heated up. Terrible! Roast a REAL turkey or turkey breast. The Prime Rib dinner was also bad. It came as an unidentifiable steak -- Prime Rib should come with a bone, so you know what it is. This did not taste or look like Prime Rib. And it was cooked Medium when I asked for it Rare/Medium-Rare. They did NOT deliver the salads that were supposed to come with our dinners. They send the salad DRESSING, but no salad. Pretty Bad.

The food is always outstanding. What is even better is the delivery of it. My order always comes, it seems, within minutes, and it's nice and hot. The delivery people are noteworthy as well. Always pleasant and courteous and always exactly where I ask them to meet me. A+ food. A+ service. A+ staff. How can you go wrong ?
